While the Scout is not soliciting gifts or donations to support the renovation efforts of Old Watkins Cemetery,
he is allowed to accept gifts and donations from individuals and corporations in order to accomplish these
efforts. We would like to be able to cover all of the costs associated with the renovation of the historic
cemetery plus generate enough money to purchase a new gated entry, and a standing plaque inside the
cemetery listing all the names of those interred as well as a base for the plaque that will contain all of the
commemorative bricks that people have been purchasing in support of the project.

Please consider having your name or that of a loved one permanently installed in the cemetery recognizing
you for your support. Purchasing a personalized brick to honor one or more of your ancestors or family will

Additionally, a trust fund has been set up with Washington Mutual in the New Territory Financial Center located
at 5880 New Territory Boulevard in Sugar Land, TX 77479. They will accept monetary gifts in the name of the
Watkins Cemetery Preservation Fund.
